Like all great ideas, this one too started with three friends around a table, sharing a hamburger.

‍Paolo Tazzini, Mirco Taddeucci and Maddalena Sartor they have been working at Yachtalia for years, growing together with boating and acquiring more and more experience. But with the exponential growth of the sector, so do demands and needs, especially at a premium customer care level. The challenge? On one hand, the quality of service to provide, and on the other, the balance between work and personal life of professionals.

The goal is clear: improve life on board and make the business sustainable.

It's late 2019, and Paolo, Mirco, and Maddalena devise Captayn: they conduct an analysis of the main causes of failure on board, map and study the existing methods of intervention, and act on each individual element to find and implement the best solutions.

Their mix of skills is the key to success. Paolo, engineer and entrepreneur, is the driving force and today the brand's ambassador. Mirco, with a background in architecture and a taste for design, is the creative mind. Maddalena, General Manager, puts into play her logistics and customer care experience..

They are the three founding partners.

In 2021 they launch Captain App. In March 2022, the project officially debuts at YARE.
Some of the world's leading shipyards, such as Azimut Yachts, choose to rely on Captayn.
The dream becomes reality.

In 2023, the company is formed: Captayn Platforms is now an innovative startup. Shortly after, the first capital increase took place, which saw the entry of new shareholders, including Roberto Silvestri.

Captayn is ready to revolutionize nautical assistance, with Paolo Tazzini at the helm, a proud and convinced ambassador of a team of visionaries and seasoned experts in the field.
